Technical/Browser problems
The web site uses cookies, JavaScript and Adobe® Flash® for delivering training content to you. Although this web site will work with most internet browsers, we recommend using Internet Explorer 6.x and above for the best viewing experience. The instructions below are for Internet Explorer 6.x only. If you are using a higher or lower version of Internet Explorer, please refer to the specific browser's Help feature and change the settings listed below.

 

Please use the following recommendations to configure your browser for the best viewing experience with the web site. They have been categorized for your convenience:

  • Browser Cookie Settings
    • Please note that you need to enable cookies on your browser to effectively use the Course Catalog, Class Schedule, Personal Transcript and other pages listed on the left hand menu. In order to enable cookies, please do the following
      • For Internet Explorer 6.x : go to Tools > Internet Options > Privacy Tab. Click on "Edit.." in the "Web Sites" section Type in http://www.aspect.com and click on "Allow", Click "OK" to close the window .

         
  • Pop-Up Blocker Settings
    • Please turn off pop-up blockers while using the site and specially if you are attending online training (including recordings), viewing webinars or while taking Knowledge Validations (Tests)
    • Failsafe technique: If you are not sure whether you have turned off all pop-up blockers, please hold the "CTRL" key on your keyboard down while clicking on links for online courses, recordings and tests. This will temporarily disable ALL pop-up blockers on your browser and allow you to view the content.

       
  • JavaScript and Adobe® Flash® Settings
    • Please make sure that your internet browser is set to allow JavaScript to run scripts served by our web site. There are multiple settings you can set here, as follows:
      • On Internet Explorer 6.x, go to Tools > Internet Options > Security Tab. Select the "Internet" content zone and click on the "Custom Level" button
        • Under Miscellaneous > Display mixed content, select "Prompt"
        • Under Miscellaneous > Launching programs and files in an IFRAME, select "Prompt"
        • Under Scripting > Active Scripting, select "Enable"
        • Under Scripting > Scripting of Java Applets, select "Enable"
      • On Internet Explorer 6.x, go to Tools > Internet Options > Security Tab. Select the "Trusted Sites" zone and click on the "Sites..." button
        • Uncheck "Require server verification (https:...." check box
        • Type in "http://www.aspect.com" in the "Add this web site to the zone" text box. Click on "Add"
    • Please make sure that you have Adobe® Flash® installed on your computer and as an add-in with your internet browser.
      • Download the Flash® Player here: http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_14266 . The recommended Adobe® Flash® player version is Flash® Player 9. Please follow the instructions at this URL to download the player.

         
  • Troubleshooting Issues with online courses
    • "Course could not be started" error. If you see this error while attempting to start an online course, please complete the following steps and try again
      • On Internet Explorer 6.x, go to Tools > Internet Options > General Tab. Click on "Delete Cookies..", click on "Ok" on the screen that comes up.
      • On Internet Explorer 6.x, go to Tools > Internet Options > General Tab. Click on "Delete Files ..", check "Delete all offline content" and click "Ok".
      • Close all your browser windows and re-navigate to the online course via the web site.

Course Search (Course Catalog)
The Course Catalog allows you to easily find courses that meet your training needs with courses listed by product name. To find a course:

 

  • Select a product name from the menu.
      
  • Enter optional keywords to further refine your search. If you know the course code, you can enter it as a keyword.
    (Please note: keywords and course codes search only within the product name highlighted in the menu.)
      
  • Choose whether to use any or all of the entered key words in your search.
      
  • Click the Search button to generate a list of courses that meets your criteria.

Once your search is complete, the Course List page is displayed.

Course List (Course Catalog)
The Course List page displays the results of a search in the Course Catalog. The product name is displayed at the top of the page.

 

  • Use the Search Again link to return to the Course Catalog to perform another search.
      
  • Click on a column heading to sort the list.
      
  • Use the Select button next to an item in the list to view the Course Detail page for that course.

Course Detail (Course Catalog)
The Course Detail page displays information about a course selected from the Course List. The name of the course selected appears at the top of the page. The Course Detail page displays the Course Description, which includes course objectives, audience information, prerequisites, and pricing.

 

Use the Schedule of upcoming classes link to view the Class List, showing upcoming deliveries for the course in the next 90 days.
If this link is not displayed, there are no upcoming classes scheduled for this course. Contact Aspect Education Services at education@aspect.com for additional information.

For watching recorded webinars, taking online courses and taking online Knowledge Validations (tests), click on the Course Content tab. This tab will require you to log in and view the course content.

If the course has required prerequisites, the Check your Transcript for Prerequisites tab is displayed. Click the tab to compare your transcript against the required prerequisites for the course. To check prerequisites, you must sign on using your Aspect Training ID. See Sign On below for more information.

Course Content (Course Catalog)
The Course Content tab displays a link to content for an online self-paced course or Webinar recording. You must sign on to access the course content. See Sign On below or more information.

 

If you have not yet enrolled in this course:

  • Use the link in the content window or the Start Course link to launch the content.
    The course content opens in a new window. Use the exit link provided at the bottom of the window to close the course.
  • You can also click on the "Start" button below the content description for each content object listed to launch the content.
     

If you have previously enrolled in this course:

  • Use the Access Course link to launch the course content and maintain tracking information from previous sessions.
  • Use the Restart link to launch the course content and reset tracking information from previous sessions.
  • Use the Cancel link to cancel your enrollment in the course.

Once the course content has been launched:

  • Use the link provided at the bottom of the content window to close the course.
  • When you close the window, you will be prompted to choose whether or not you have completed the content. Click OK to confirm completion and change your status in the course to Finished. Click Cancel to indicate you have not completed the course; your status will remain Enrolled.
  • If this is an online recording, please click on the Close button on the content window to close it. The system will then prompt you whether you want to set your status to Completed. When you click on the Ok button, your Completed status will be recorded.
Please remember to disable ALL popup blockers so that you are able to view the course. If you are not sure whether you have turned off all pop-up blockers, please hold the "CTRL" key on your keyboard down while clicking on links for online courses, recordings and tests. This will temporarily disable ALL pop-up blockers on your browser and allow you to view the content.

Class Search (Class Schedule)

The Class Schedule allows you to easily find upcoming training classes.

The Class Schedule lists upcoming classes by product name. To find a class:

  • Select a product name from the menu.
      
  • Enter keywords to further refine the search, if desired. If you know the course code, you can enter it as a keyword.
    (Please note: keywords and course codes search only within the product name highlighted in the menu.)
      
  • Choose whether to use any or all of the entered key words in your search.
      
  • Click the Search button to generate a list of upcoming classes that meets your criteria.

Once your search is complete, the Class List page is displayed.

Class List (Class Schedule)

The Class List page displays the results of a search in the Class Schedule, or upcoming classes for a specific course from the Course Detail page.

  • Use the Search Again link to return to the Class Schedule to perform another search.
       
  • Click on a column heading to sort the list.
     
  • Use the Select button next to an item in the list to view the Class Detail page for that class.
      
  • Use the Calendar View link to see the upcoming classes displayed on a calendar.
      
  • From Calendar View, use the List View link to return to the class list

Class Detail (Class Schedule)
The Class Detail page displays information about a class selected from the Class List. The name of the class selected appears at the top of the page. The Class Detail page displays the Course Description, which includes course objectives, audience information, prerequisites, and pricing.

 

At the bottom of the Class Detail page is information specific to this class delivery, including the start date and end date, training location, and available seats.

If you are not signed on to Aspect Education Central:

  • Use the Sign On for Enrollment Information link to sign on using your Aspect Student ID and last name. This allows you to see your status in the class and provides a link to enroll in the class or change your enrollment status.
    See Sign On for more information.
      
  • If the course has prerequisites, the Check your Transcript for Prerequisites tab is displayed. Click the tab to compare your transcript against the prerequisites for the course. To check prerequisites, you must sign on to Aspect Education Central. See Sign On for more information.

If you are signed on to Aspect Education Central:

  • Your status in the class is displayed.
       
    • If you are not enrolled in the class, meet the prerequisites for the class, and have no time conflicts, the Enroll link is displayed.
        
    • If your enrollment in the class is confirmed, the Cancel from This Class link is displayed. You will be required to accept the terms of Aspect's Cancellation Policy in order to cancel.
        
  • If the course has prerequisites, the Check your Transcript for Prerequisites tab is displayed. Click the tab to compare your transcript against the required prerequisites for the course.

Prerequisites

The Prerequisites view shows the prerequisites for the selected course and any allowed substitutions.

This page compares your personal transcript to the prerequisites for the course. Your percentage complete of the prerequisites is displayed at the top of the list. Click the link for a course or equivalent to display details about that course.

Only required prerequisites are listed and compared to your transcript. Recommended prerequisites listed in the course description are optional, but suggested to maximize your learning experience. &h

Sign on

Aspect uses a Learning Management System (LMS) to track all your training activity. Signing on to the LMS gives you access to your personal student information and enrollment functions. Your Aspect Student ID is your password to log on to the LMS.

If you have taken training from Aspect in the past, An Aspect Student ID has already been created for you. Use the form provided to have your Student ID emailed to you.

If you are a new student, please use the form provided to submit your information. Your Student ID will be sent to you via email.

Personal Profile

Use this page to view and update your personal student profile. To make any corrections, enter new information and click the Update Profile button.

To make any additional changes to your student profile information (company name, etc.), please contact Aspect Education Services at education@aspect.com.

Personal Training Calendar

Your Personal Training Calendar shows upcoming classes in which you have an enrollment status.

Select a class from the calendar to view the Class Detail page.

Use the link for Your Transcript to view your Personal Training Transcript.

Personal Transcripts

Your personal transcript shows all past and future training classes in which you have an enrollment status. The initial transcript screen shows one year of training history.

  • Click the Show Entire Transcript link to view your entire training history.
      
  • Click the Your Training Calendar link to view your upcoming scheduled training on your personal calendar.
      
  • Click a class to view detailed information.
